That Rat Rocks.  That’s what you’ll say when you listen to the sizzling new Switchblade CD.  Recorded live at the legendary Bayou in Washington D.C.  You’ll have your ears pinned back as Ratso relates rock-n-roll as only Ratso can do.  "It’ll knock your dick to your watch pocket."  Join Ratso, Johnny Castle, Bobby Berberich and special guest Mark Wenner as they rollick through their wonderful world of rock n roll.

Switchblade evolved from Tex Rubinowitz and the Bad Boys.  After their first gig at The Cellar Door in D.C.  they never stopped rockin'!  Eddie Angel left and Stewart Smith jumped aboard.  Jimmy Daugherty left to play with Evan Johns and power hitter Giles Cook left Evan to play with Switchblade.  This is the line-up that played on the 1984 hit album, "Fugitive," with Mark Wenner.

Fast forward two years: Switchblade's "Rude, Hard and Put Away Wet" went to rock and roll heaven.  As they say, when the horse dies, get off.  But the Nighthawks wanted to do a New Year's eve show with Switchblade - so, after a flurry of phone calls (one of which was the only rehearsal), Johnny, Bobby, Berberich, and Ratso hit the stage at The Bayou.  That show has been captured live on this CD.

Note: Mark Wenner walked on stage in the middle of "Tight Blue Jeans" to blow a great harp solo and then sang "Lonesome Fugitive."
